So Sad...

Today I got an IM from a very good friend. She said they are in the states and her dad is not doing so good. He has terminal cancer. Her and her family flew in last night from Japan. Well I've met her family.. and they are great people. She told me that they were to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary on the 17th. Well I would hope and pray that he makes it until then. But not so sure as he is in the hospital and they are just trying to make him as comfortable as they can. I really wish we could be there for them right now. But she understands that we're thinking and praying for them. I guess I'm just really upset because it could be my dad.. my mom.. and I don't know how I could possibly keep it together. I don't think I could. But I don't even wanna think about all of that. I'm just praying tonight for George McCoy.. that if it's his time that he goes peacefully.

Adding my prayers for your friend's dad and the family. I hope that your friend's dad will at least make it to see the 49th wedding anniversary.
It is so sad to hear of anyone who is struck with that frickin cancer - I hate it.
